I filed 9 seperate job applications at Boeing from 1986 till 1990. I never got one answer. Seeing what Boeing is like now... I am so glad they weren't interested in me. I've been self employed making $80,000 a year back in the late 90's whrn I wanted to work for Boeing, and now making $160,000 a year presently. Fate held me back from making the mistake with Boeing, and pushed me in a different direction that has been so much more enjoyable and enriching. Thank you Boeing... For letting me see how much better life is without you.

Boeing started its downward trend in 2001. When they were one of the biggest most successful companies in America. They moved their headquarters to Chicago and slowly started to open facilities around the US in areas without union support. Obviously anti employee moves began to chip away at the skill base that got them to where they were. They started to have more malfunctions and missed delivery dates. And in 2012 they stopped offering pensions to employees. As they took more and more from their employees things continued to get worse. Now many of the parts of the spacecraft and aircraft are made by skilled subcontractors and just assembled at Boeing plants. With this move of the finance jobs overseas they will allow more mistakes and blame them on time zones or language. If they lost their government contracts the company will be gone in a decade. Corporate greed will always destroy a successful company. We are seeing it happen in real time.

Moving critical design to out of house production WAS MCAS. Boeing continues to design more human carrying missiles while being backed by our gov't.

Pensions go poof be gone!

Boeing sucks, glad I don't fly anymore. I just have to worry about a flying scrap pile falling through my roof.
