If Barnett were intent on suicide he would have waited until after the inquiry, not during it. He'd worked too hard not to see his exposing of Boeing all the way through. Also, he was a quality control inspector with a respect for machinery and presumably with next of kin who would inherit the truck his body was found in. If he were suicidal, and staying in a hotel room, presumably with public parks and other natural areas around, why would he render that truck unusable by killing himself in it with so many alternative places to depart this world from? And how could a hotel parking lot not have surveillance footage of him, supposedly alone?

Murphy, of Murphy's Law fame, was in the aircraft maintenance profession. His quote was more like, if left to chance, everything that can go wrong will go wrong. That is why he came up with plugs that can only be put in one way, among other things. If I remember correctly, his original quote was a snipe at one of his coworkers, as in," If left to Tom, everything that can go wrong will go wrong. To apply Murhy's law, the problem with Boeing is management. Messing up a company that survives off government contracts takes colossal mismanagement, especially working for the defense industry. Being government contractors, we can assume there will be no new news about any investigation into the cause of death.

Boeing is not solely to blame. The FAA inspected and certified every Boeing airplane and if they were doing their job correctly they would found those defects.

bad people kept going against KARMA and found themselves in more mess than before. Doing the right thing in the first place is apparently too difficult for some. Looks like some Western super corporations are "going Russian-Navalny-Style", no difference..
