Gel Electrophoresis, sometimes called "DNA Fingerprinting", separates molecules using size and charge. It is a common method of analysis in biology and biotechnology. Combined with DNA ladders and restriction enzymes, we can quickly and cheaply analyze and compare DNA samples.
