good recorders and good recorder players make for a beautiful sound, but most people keep on insisting that they're nothing more than a crappy meme.

The shit with recorders is that the basics are pretty easy to learn. At least the basics. Decent quality ones cheaply available, tuned in c and all that. And thats why many ppl learn them by force, at least in germany a great amount of people had to kearn the recorder in school altho they didnt rly want to and thus hated that instrument.

Being a jack of all trades can be good, but you will NEVER be able to master any of them. If you truly want to be a woodwind doubler, you should start ASAP. So you can have many years of practice behind you.

Josh, I really think that you should show us all of your instruments! Like you should have a video that shows each instrument individually and possibly a sample of how it sounds solo. You should do it right after you get that bassoon! Also, I am an oboe player and I think that your oboes are soon cool!!! 😄 😝

Jalaxy it is going to take a while to get/write the sheet music, practice until it sounds perfect, play every individual part himself, and then edit it so it all plays together and is the right volume, and I haven't even touched on the actual video that he had to piece together.

Wow, you've gotta have insane breath control to be able to not only play a clarinet well but also play any recorder well. After learning clarinet and developing my lung capacity I never had the restraint to play an alto recorder, I always over blew. Dang, being able to play all of these instruments well must've taken a lot of practice. I'm sure you've spent so much time that you've nearly gone insane playing scales and thirds on all of these instruments
