Girl, I absolutely loooove your gator hold gel! I've been using it for an entire week, literally 7 days. No build up No Flaking No white residue No dryness No poof after using. it holds my hair down literally all day. I have type 4A/b/c hair, yes, all three in my head naturally. lol, this stuff is heaven sent. I sure am going to go get other things from your line! You sure did bring a blessing to us who have type 4 hair❤❤

A tip I learned, after you finish braiding the hair I like to take the loose pieces and then wrap them all around each braid that it’s coming from then a couple of days later I take all of those loose pieces and unravel them. The result is a more defined curly BoHo pieces. I also make my breath a little bit bigger so I can have more loose pieces.

I am fully black, but i have a mixed Ghanaian and Japanese friend who currently lived in Japan, she has 4c hair and struggles braiding it herself, its nice to see how many new determined braiders are coming to japan!

It's in the type 4 spectrum lol I feel like everyone has a different definition of 4c so I just say it's type 4

Thank you! 😊 I wouldn't say it necessarily breaks off the hair ( like tight ponytails or braids), but if I were to rate it 1-5 for how protective it is I'd say it's about a 4.
