Hi Billie, thank you so much 🥰🥰🥰. I used clay extruder in this project. Here's the link of the store where I bought it ( shopee.ph/product/203074144/5146864717?smtt=0.25109970-1604814033.9 ). I also used a pasta maker to condition my clay. I used cutter blade refill as my cutter in this project. Which is cheaper compared to the actual cutter used in the polymer clay. I also use blank stud, double cylinder connecting rod, jump ring. And used 200,600 and 800 sanding paper to polish my earrings. I just polish it manually. Hope that is helpful

These are so cute, what brand of polymer clay would you suggest?

Hi Rhyse, not sure if you heard of Xclay and Ailto brand but I used this two brand of clay in my project. The ailto is a bit crumbly if you havent kneed on it, but once you condition it. It is easier to work on it. Also thank you for the compliment. This means so much to me 🥰🥰🥰

What do you do with the back of the knot pieces? That’s always my biggest struggle how to tuck them
@JMeicaDC
@JMeicaDC 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Mckenna, I usually cut the end of the clay located in the inner knot straight, and I cut the other end diagonally, to make it easier in wrapping it on the side of the knot. I also sand the back if it needed more polish. Hope that will help you. Thank you and have a nice day

Hey there, I love your tutorials. I'm new like 2days new to polymer clay. I brought an extruder as thought this would be great to start making things. However I have conditioned my clay, it doesn't crack when I bend it, has a nice sheen to it etc. However when I squeeze it through the extruder the clay comes out real strange with little tears and stresses I wish I could send you a picture to truly show what I mean. I have googled and KZfaqd but nothing is coming up with why's or suggestions. Would you be able to help me at all ? Thank you x

Hi kelly, when you load your clay on the extruder, make sure that they are knead and condition, then try to push it inside even more, just to squish out some of the air, that is usually the reason of the crack in clay. I would love to see what happens, you can message me the picture in insta, or tag me in a post and I'll see what I can help with.

Hi Dani, I usually use Ailto brand, it is firm and a bit crumbly, but conditioning the clay makes it easier to work on it :)
