Good video here. I found an annoying leak where pressure kept dropping by 0.2 bar every 2 weeks using a liquid pressure testing device. I isolated the boiler and put 6 bar into the system. Sure enough in about 5 minutes i heard a drip in the kitchen and the top part behind the radiator had a pinhole caused by corrosion. Replaced the radiator and no problem after that. Totally recommend a hydrostatic pressure test especially for annoying slow leaks which you cant find. Another trick is to use UV dye and then use a UV LED torch to spot any luminous deposits on joins or pipes.

Found nothing under the floor other than no claustrophobia lol... leak coming from shower tray well above and away, running down to built in cupboard in kitchen

Can a remote controlled small machine with camera and light be hired to tour around under the floors to find a leak and minmise floor openings for searches ?

I was wondering if you had any ideas on what could be causing a slow pressure drop? Seemed to mention that this one drops in 24 hours or so - mine however I could have it at 1.5, and it'd drop to 1 in about 4-5 weeks. Had plumbers out, they haven't checked under the floorboards yet (I'm leaving that as a last resort), but they've done everything else - changed PRV, a couple other things. Two radiators weren't on securely, so those got tightened up. They've said it must be a leak, but would this be the case with such a slow pressure drop? For more context - Radiators were bled after they completed these works as they advised to do so, although I've noticed since that two out of 4 of the top floor radiators need bleeding every week. The radiators are still hot, I just try to bleed them and air comes out.

There is a leak somewhere so we need to look around for wet patch is it leaking outside the back of the boiler is it leaking inside the boiler and down the condensate drain It’s too high if it’s at 1.5 bar when cold most boilers operate at one bar cold and will rise to 1.8 when hot that is the normal operating tolerance Also if you’re talking about topping it up every four or five weeks that is not the end of the world normally when we go to a so-called like it’s every day so perhaps the answer is just to leave it and keep topping it up And keep your eye out
