Grateful but I see they're not showing the actual channels or the log drum. Someone in the industry told me that SA's problem is the gatekeeping. Not enough sharing in Amapiano. Reason being, SA is a very small market so not enough for everyine to eat and it becomes even more secretive than the music industry in general already is. Competition without collaboration and a measure of openness means the game cannot elevate and therefore the market remains small. This video is an example of the cagey nature of the industry and its players. Not as comfortable as say a Complex Deconstructed to divulge information. No one at fault just telling it how it is. But again, this video is a big step towards more transparency. Congrats to the producers and stakeholders for providing us with this content. Like Riky said, let's empower the kids! Open up the industry and create healthy competition that includes more sophisticated competition. That way, we will all gain, in the industry, outside and of course listeners.
