Brilliant video , I am just about to start making my own bait. From a DIY enthusiast and an engineer your workstation is incredibly well set out using things you would never imagine of using .

@@Kev-england32 you might need a 14mm gun I watched screaming delcims yesterday and he says doing 16 table to 16 gun makes them barrel shaped but with a 16 table and 14 gun he got them round have you seen the table and gun on ebay 15 quid or bigger rolling table for 20 quid with a gun to

@@Kev-england32 have you tried decathlon for your flours yet mate instead of paying like say mainline prices of 13 pound for a kg of base mix tou can make 9kg of base mix for like 12 quid if you buy the flours they do and do your own mix of flours

Got my paddle mixer from Aldi £40, 5kg dry mix is done in less than a minute. For home rolling this it it! :) I also use it to mix my dry base mixes kilo's at a time.

I love that setup, I tried angled setup before but it did work well, I'm going to try it again. I like that guttering idea. How many sausages you put in a gutter? 4-6?
@PioneerAmusements3 жыл бұрын
Hi i used to do a 4kilo mix and it wood fit into 5 lengths of guttering
@JoffreyVerkadeNietVanDeKoekjes3 жыл бұрын
@@PioneerAmusements definitely trying the angled rolling table approach with the guttering etc. Found myself that tea urn too for £30 on ebay, it fits a metal office rubbish bin to lift out boilies. So I don't have to boil them in the house anymore :D

Hi mate the plaster paddle is a great idea for bigger batches. I thinking of getting one instead of a commercial mixer. Do you have any tips for using the paddle? Does the mix get congealed easier? Is faster better than slower etc? Cheers Sam

I've used the plasterers paddle a few times. you have to sort of hold the bucket/mixing tub with your feet while you use it. I sort of clamp either side of my bucket to hold it firm with feet and knees. otherwise it just spins the bucket round. Or make a stand for your bucket/mixing tub so it doesn't spin when the mixer spins but other than that its perfect just start it off slow so powders don't fly away and it's a good bit of kit some great advice on video going to share with a friend who's just beginning to home roll and he's converting a room for it so this video perfect for him what he needs how to set up ect

Hi mate if you get a clean bag tape it to the top put a whole through what will be the bottom of the bag put your mixer in you wont have any mess and can go as fast as you like the more you mix you will learn your own way of doing it

@@add-123 hi mate can I give you a bit of advice you sound like your into boilie making have you tried decathlon for your floors like nut flour maize flour hemp all sorts and it's only 1.99 a kg the quality is amazing you can get oils to like hemp nut fish at 7.99 not 20 quid a litre like most fishing shops the shops called decathlon the flours are in 1 kg bags of 5kg the 5 kg is only 7pound and you can pick the grade of the grind to like fine hemp flour or one a bit bigger bits
@add-1234 жыл бұрын
@@rebeccacooksey112 top tip much appreciated I'll check them out thank you always looking for new suppliers and new ingredients and like the sound of being able to choose the grade as I do like a bit of texture to a bait and some do grind things too fine for my liking so ill definitely check out them thank you
@rebeccacooksey1124 жыл бұрын
@@add-123 no worries my friend glad to help and your so right I like using all different size particles in my boilies I find bigger bits hold the liquid flavours better but when your buying oils from the bait shop for say 8 quid for 100ml but at decathlon it's so much cheaper for so much more the nut oil is amazing and if your going to have a look mate the flours are in the match fishing side it's a bit of a pain working the website but omg the quality for the price is unreal they do it so cheap as decathlon is owned by asda now so if don't want it delivered you can get it to pick up at your local asda hope it does help mate I'll tell you the base mis I made its 3kg of nut flour 3 kg of hemp flour then 3 kg of course hemp powder 4 kg of the coco and molasses flour 2 kg of the maize flour 2 kg of ground grilled maize flower 2 kg of coconut flour 4kg of milk powder nut oil and eggs did by PB on them this year so defo worth it sorry to go on

If anyone is making your own boiles please please don't not buy base mix at 14 quid a kg go to decathlon and get it there hemp flour 1.99 kg maize flour 1.99 kg nut flour 1.99 nut oil fish oil hemp oil 7.99 litre not 20 pound a litre like most bait companys charge all good quality you wont believe just how good for the price they do 5kg sacks of the flours to if that's what you need at least 10 different flours

Where do u get your flavourings from please
@rebeccacooksey1124 жыл бұрын
Any where have you tried decathlon you can get nut oil hemp oil fish oil 1 litre for 7.99 and you can buy it from a fishing shop and will cost you 20 quid for a litre of it
