I think Katie did this to free ridge of Caroline so that Brooke will no longer be an issue for her. If Ridge is with Brooke then Katie will breathe.

That is and awesome point. I totally agree, but I know what it won't work out in Katie's favor. Because Bill still wants Brooker and she wants him. Katie should have stayed out of it?!!

I think Katie did this to break up Ridge"s marriage, she is still angry about the fact that Ridge left her to be with Caroline. This was her revenge.

I know right? She's as bad as Brooke. For some reason they seem to think they're entitled to Ridge's personal secrets that don't affect them in any way. Katie wants an apology from Ridge for not telling her Thomas was the father? Who does she think she is? And Brooke was shocked and offended that Ridge didn't update her on the details of his vasectomy. It literally has nothing to do with them, why would he tell them?

Looking back at this episode I’m kinda now wondering if Katie never found out about Douglas true paternity and Ridge and Caroline just raise him and not tell Thomas that he’s the father. Cause Thomas is not a great Father now (present day) to Douglas
