That scene with Joanna Johnson and Jim Storm is heartbreaking.💔😭 Just like JJ, JS is an excellent actor who perfectly plays the role of Bill Spencer. That's why the two are such a strong duo.💯💞

But for a more balanced, life-affirming and positive take, without any cynicism, meanness, bitterness or black-blooded gall >>> how beautiful are Caroline's scenes departing from her loved ones. I know there were some great performances over the years I watched the show (1987-2008), Susan Flannery in particular, but I don't know that there were ever as touching or more moving scenes than these of Joanna Johnson. I've said it before, but I'll say it again: what a beauty and what a class act.

For those few seconds you could see Bill die on the inside. He lost his wife and now his daughter.

Caroline is spectacular in the scenes with Ridge, and now with her dad.

Bill finding out about Caroline made it real and I ached when I saw it thru his lens. He loved her so and She was the only person he loved that loved him back. Ridge would move on in a few months. Bill dies when she dies.

Bill just lost his beloved wife a few years ago. Now his only child? I feel empathy for him. 😢

Not liking Stephanie here. She’s too deluded. Wish she went on a holiday. Poor Bill, he is in denial & he loves his daughter. Just doesn’t know how to challenge the shock & grief of bad news. I feel bad for him but loved the scene with him & Caroline 😭😭😭

Bill Spencer talking to his daughter made me cry. That sheer helplessness, despair in his eyes, his words tumbling out...simply heartbreaking. The worst thing in the world - a parent losing their only child.

Class acting as always by Caroline, especially in all these episodes leading up to her death. For the ones who are constantly posting hate filled nasty and sick comments about her, it speaks more of their own sick personalities. Your sick comments can never change her lovable character and classy acting, which in my eyes 30 years later too is legendary! 50 years from now, if this soap is still aired, there will still be Caroline and Cridge fans 😘 Cridge forever ❤️

I miss Ethan Wayne. Sure he was irritatingly over-protective, but still lovable. Storm No 2. Urgh. What a dork.

Stephanie is so so desperate to get Eric back that she would believe the worst in her own son. I feel so sorry for Bill because no parent should out live their own child. I wish the writers had written Caroline better because the actress did come back but has a twin. I wish did said she went to New York to open up another magazine and give her and Ridge some problems with her moving. It would of been easier that way.

Brooke receives a call from the Devil and stares at the receiver incredulously, wondering why Hell would want to support her if she needed to talk. A swift "if I ever need to talk, you'd be the last person on Earth, etc, etc" would have been appropriate here.

I don't know I liked Caroline but for me it was Hunter Tylo and Ronn Moss. Thought they were magic. The chemistry was electric. (1995 - 2002) my favourite years. Didn't watch much of B&B afterwards. Loved Stephanie too

In an alternate universe, Storm/Taylor became a couple... and Taylor and Brooke became sister in laws. No matter what universe, those two women probably would have grown to dislike one another..imho

MAN…..Stephanie was so tiring and sad as hell. I’ve never seen any other soap character so weak to be trying to desperately hold on to a man who clearly proved many many times he didn’t want her. I’m probably in the minority of being glad the character was written out, because this just became an unnecessary pitiful distraction. Hell even Nikki Newman on Y&R didn’t act such a desperate fool when Victor had interests with other women. She just moved on and enjoyed the company of other men in between….though AT LEAST Victor had real desires for Nikki when he was with her. Stephanie needed therapy and she should have been written off way before she ever was, or recast so they could find something else to do with her, or perhaps pair her in real relationships with other men. YES SF’s acting was great, but the character was just an awful miserable person. Over the years the way everything changed with her, it was sadly almost like it worked for the writing, because it aligned with her becoming beat down and worn, and aged, from YEARS of obsessing over a man who constantly dumped her. Many blame Eric, but I blame HER, for being delusional and controlling, and constantly in denial. Eric always tried to be honest with her. It’s really sad they wrote this character in such a way, then wrote her to have a horrible death!! 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️
