I know, I know, you've all seen this cartoon a million times.. but here's a scan from the 35mm IB Technicolor master print from UCLA. I'm sharing it because there's actually better news than this print-- the original successive camera negative exists on this cartoon. i fondly remember watching a dirty PD quality copy of this years ago on some forgotten cartoon dvd, absolutely wonderful to see it restored to its former full colour glory

seeing this print is already a revelation after longstanding memories of seeing the foggiest prints during childhood, seeing it from the successive exposure negative will be exciting!

This is such an improvement over your previous scan of this short, it’s a completely different experience! I hope you’re able to get a scan of Neptune Nonsense that looks and sounds this good

Hi, as this is a felix the cat video I recently bought some delix shorts on 8mm and I was wondering If there rare or common. :Perry's movies "fifty fifty" with original titles. :Felix goes out on the town/woos whoopee reissue with full opening titles. :felix takes a trip(all puzzled) and finds a friend(fifty fifty) :felix the hypnotist(hips the hippo) with rare title cards. If anyone has information please let me know 😅

To my knowledge, when it comes to home movies being rare or common, 8mm Felix is right in the middle. Hope this helps!
