I finally did it, I got sister Locs, well I got half my head done, tomorrow I’ll get it finished. 2 days 24 hrs. I wanted to tell you because you kept telling me to do it, I finally did it and I’m happy 🤗. Do you ever think about coloring your hair, I was told I can’t for the first year and now I want to more than ever 🤣

@@qll8840 yayyyyyy!!!! How do you like them? I don’t want to color my hair I did that so much when I had relaxed hair that there’s really no color I want to try. My hair naturally has streaks so I’m fine with my natural color.

@@SincerelyNatashaxo I LOOOOOVVVVVVEEEE them. I got sister locks.My only regret is not doing them earlier. Also I love how my hair is curly at the end but my loctician said it will lock up eventually but I don’t want it to 👀 So I’m gonna see if I can sabotage the curls locks up 👀 Also remember when you said you were quoted like $1400 (i apologize if the # is wrong my memory is a bit trash 🥴) for install of sister locks. Any way I went to one lady who quoted me $1400 also and she said it would be three days because she only did install for 8 hrs a day. But she was really far and also when she put in my test locks they were so tiny and it hurt like crazy as she was putting in the test locks so I figured I couldn’t manage the pain. Then I was talking to my hair dresser , Marlins who knew a bit about sister locks and she asked me where I found the lady and I said Google. Marlene told me not to use Google and instead go directly to the sisterlock website, which I feel so stupid foe not starting on there. Anyway I went to the sisterlock website and found a certified loctician THREE minutes from my house. But it gets better she said my hair was only four inches and it would be $600 and 2 days. I was shocked she said the first 4 inches are $600 and $100 for each additional inch. But wait it gets better when she put in the test locks i didn’t even feel. Like the install was so pain feee that I kept falling asleep. Anyway I say that to advise ppl considering to start at the sister lock website and the install should not hurt

@@qll8840 I’m so glad you love them! I did use the website and was quoted $1400 because my hair was 14 inches natural at the time so she was being truthful in pricing I just did wanna pay that kind of money for a hairstyle lol in regards to your curly ends and few of mine still have them and others have loc’d all the way through but just remember sisterlocks slip out easy in the first year so don’t do too much manipulation on your ends. 🥰💕
