Ridge need to stop with he didn't mean to kill him,thomas ste Fire to a house when Rick was sleeping, what if Rick was a sleep,and the smoke detector didn't work, he would be dead.and if Rick would have been just a little closer to the car he would be dead .thomas is not stupid enough to think he could control an explosion or fire.

Ridge is not helping Thomas covering his crime up. In fact, Thomas will turn out to be crazy few years later and Ridge will keep defending him. Maybe he could have received help at this time if his parents didn't have covered him.

Taylor and Steffy had used their own free will in choosing and willingly wanted their relationships with Rick. It was 50/50 equal decisions of being sexual involved with Rick and two women are equally blame , faulted and responsible for being with Rick themselves not just on Rick. They are no innocent victims of Rick no matter what Thomas, Ridge and Stephanie say on the matter in only blaming, faulting and holds accountable responsible for Phoebe, Taylor and Steffy own chosen free will actions in life. Phoebe had caused Rick to crash car by violently attacking him , grabbing the steering wheel and pressing her foot on gas pedal on top of Rick's own foot. Rick was not blame for Phoebe's death since she was one who had caused the car crash herself. What Rick had done previously does not excused away Phoebe's own criminal violence against Rick awhile he was driving the car. In the car , Rick was most definitely 💯 had been Phoebe's own criminal dangerously violently physical assaulted victim who could had equally been murdered by Phoebe herself from her violent physical assault attack that caused the car crash.

Ridge and Stephanie were ready to burn Rick at the stake for causing Phoebe's death, they kept calling him a killer while it was an accident caused by Phoebe to be honest. Instead the real psycopath is their dear Thomas! He's really dangerous, his actions were premeditaded, he even bought some explosive material to blow Rick's car up! How can Ridge defend him is beyond me
