Specially, he didn't had any right to be angry, when he got the ultimate nepo baby treatment after being offered both the villain & hero's role. Aur kya chahiye tha ise? Sunny deol was salman like superstar of 80s and 90s, that's why salman sahrukh done side role in his movies, amir khan had strong backing of his father so he done solo movies. Yes from Darr public liked sharukh more than lead hero, same like Kabir Singh, its case of luck and bad luck. But Sunny Deol's point was correct and logical about some scenes of movies.

The issue at @10:50 was not necessarily Sunny vs SRK, but Sunny vs Chopras. See Yash Chopra had a hard time signing the role SRK played. First, Aamir agreed but wanted a shared narration, as well as changes he wanted. Then Ajay Devgun was chosen who wanted more fights... others rejected the offers as well. While Yash Ji was polite it demonstrated to him that he wasn't being respected. After approaching Rishi, Jackie, Mithun (because BR Chopra loved him) and Nitish Bharadwaj were approached for the role of an Indian Naval officer, they all could not do it. Sunny Deol agreed to the role but also pointed out that his character, Indian Naval officer, would not be equal when it came to the fights etc. Yash Ji was thinking of moving on from him but thankfully Aditya Chopra agreed with that point and Yash Ji took Sunny. With the feeling of disrespect and the difficulty for him to fill the role he approached SRK, who said yes. No drama, no bs. Just love and respect. Yash Ji seeing this decided he would promote SRK always and help make him. Sunny, while ok, sensed this and saw the favorable treatment and felt a bit off by it. Imagine saying yes, pointing out an improvement but then being second to... then also Yash Ji molded the script to make SRK look favorably, as a artist. However, in the fight scenes SRK really made it look good, so in the end he understood the assignment. The Feud was Sunny and Yash, never Sunny and SRK, in fact they were very respectful towards one another and when SRK had back problems, Sunny reach out to him.

Let's cut the crap, Sunny was just insecure by SRK's performance, Sunny went into that role after lots of improvise and remodel, him being a superstars' son, I am sure he used to get premium treatment more than anyone. SRK however is one of the most charming person and respectful as well, he listens to his director, and as an actor he also gives his own opinion, but he is not stubborn ( like starkids,iske saath kam nehi karna, iss scene ko nehi karte etc)so obviously he was adored by Yash ji,which pampered starkid like Sunny couldn’t digest.With interviews n all, it’s pretty evident Sunny has ego issue, ( Govinda has the same issue) they always want hero treatment, even tho they lose the market years ago,they are not ready to step aside, let the story talk.
