What has been the most iconic role played by Neena Gupta for you?

Such an honest and talented actor. I’ve always enjoyed watching her acting. She can make any character seem so real that she almost defines that character. Her acting skills have been under-utilised but I’m so glad now to see her in comedy as also in serious, emotive roles.

Neena Gupta, one of my favourites. She is always candid in all her interviews. And let me mention, the interviewer is just fantastic.

I totally identify with Neena where her daughter is concerned. Being of the same age, for one our thoughts are similar in general. I lost my husband to sudden death years ago and later met my second life partner but committed on the basis of my daughter feeling safe and secure. She was my priority then and still is, even at age 39.

My favourite actress from 1980s,i always admired Nena Ji, her behaviours , her style of talking, her soft yet rigid voice,her natural acting.

She was capable of much more, maybe did not get enough roles to show her full talent. Her "choli.ke oeechey kya hain" is superb. The interviewer was very genuine too. Boyish and shy.

Dev Anand was a superstar of 50s and 60s ,so is Waheeda Rahman.Dharmendra was a superstar of the 60s and 70s .Neenah is saying all these people are her favourite superstars from 80s and 90s.The song ' main tere pyar mein Sara Alam ' is from the film Dil ek Mandir .It was released in 1963 ,not eighties and nineties.Bell bottoms were trendy in 70s not 80s and 90s.Buffaunt was trendy in the mid 60s ,not 80s and 90s.
