@@pankajpandey2408both of them are good in their own way. Sonu has got one of the most melodious voice while Arijit has a special huskiness in his voice. Even Sonu rated Arijit as one of the greatest singer,so yess both are great 👍❤️

In India that's absolutely true..when compared to Western or other Asian countries...their singers are more celebrated and are more popular than the movie stars. It's a shocking change of culture when you think about it.

@@albinbaiju8956 I think the major problem is with the fact that movies preface songs and music in india as compared to albums in west of anywhere else. And that's the problem. Because they are "playback" singers. And as Shreya said, it's film oriented still. If artists got independent from movies it'd flourish way more. And given bollywood has turned trash over the past few years, it's all the more reason.

Saibo is perhaps the most underrated song of Shreya Ghoshal. Even today it's one of my most favourite songs. Tochi Raina's 'dheere dheere' part still sounds so heavenly 😌

She has been the champion of Saregamapa 1999. She started her journey with Devdas in 2002. She has been singing for 19 BLOODY YEARS. How much more experience do you think she needs? She is as much experienced as Sonu Nigam if you judge by her singing skills.

She is a great Bollywood singer for sure and as good as other singers from the past. Sorry I was talking about singing in general which would also include classical singing and western styles. Someone like Arijit shows more variety as a singer but still Arijit is not BGAK or NFAK and I would imagine these singers aspire to get better every day.
