This guy Anand Balraj's statement should be taken cognizance of. He admitted in this interview that he git drunk and got into the same ill fated SUV of Salaman which later got involved in the hit and run case. Salaman is a big/clean hearyed guy - Ghanta....in another country he would have been cooling his heels in jail for crimes that he committed....

Anand Balraj have done many many small roles in the movies which were made in 70's and 80's in which mostly he was not given credit. Anand Balraj have worked in 1973 movie Honeymoon, Abdullah, The Burning Train etc.

He was a pretty ordinary actor. Apart from “Ram Lakhan” & “Haftabandh”, he couldn’t do much. His brother Deepak Balraj Vij made many movies but, he didn’t take him seriously as main lead. Side-actors are just made to overact to look like clown.
