Yesterday I played a match with no upgrades. I used darling, super monkey, and banana farm, on the thin ice map. I won! My opponent kept sending hearts and thumbs up, and he surrendered once I sent 120 fortified BFBs, followed by 6 fortified DDTs. I think he knew what I was doing, and allowed me to do it since he watched Boltrix (your channel) too!

Question: Why not use the monkey city closer to the other monkeys? i know you want to have space for more meaningful towers, but there are times where you can get it closer so you can have the discounts on upgrading

1st, as you said, he'd have to place the village where he would want more meaningful towers to get discounts on them. If he placed a village in the last game near his sentry champion then he would've had to build around it. 2nd, the 5% discount for tier 4's and 15% for tier 3's and less (if you get up to a Monkey City) doesn't do much especially when you go late game (which is normally a goal in Boltrix's videos). When spending 100k on a tier 5, a few hundred maybe a few thousand dollars at the most saved, and that's only if you put the village in the middle of all of your meaningful towers (which ruins spots for other potentially useful towers) isn't really worth it. 3rd, sometimes he needs to clutch things so he'll just randomly place a tower and if a village is in the middle of a large area so that it's relatively out of the way of meaningful towers then that could obstruct a quickly placed tower that could have an ability that saves him. I may have forgotten a few things and this is just what I think/have experienced. Take my words with a grain of salt, but this a few reasons I think he keeps his money making villages in the corners.

You can only have 3 towers and a hero in a loadout. There's no room for super, and support temple doesn't provide a buff as strong as village or alch

Day 34 of asking for the boltrix's personal hell challenge. Rules: hero is striker Jones, boomerang, heli pilot, sub. You cannot eco, any alt Eco comes from heli farms, early game you can only spaced eco, cannot be aggressive, no pixel perfect placements.
