Nice talk, thanks. Both of you. The interesting part is that you are suggesting dosing and increasing the light at the beginning of the day compared to how it is done in the wild (sunrise, sunset, etc). It very well could be that corals are so far removed from the wild it doesn't matter but oddly enough when one is attempting to spawn SPS light cycle, time of day, year, matters. Never the less thank you again. Have a good day.

Great talk. Reminds me on when i was analyzing old tanks (i'm still a hobbyist) that looked better than new tanks that where using new products 😊 Actually i'm doing it a bit different but what i could observe for most methods is dosing substances that directly or indirectly affect pH during nighttime especially before the lights turn on does some magic ;)

Hi , a good sign for iodine are the white tips m, if the coral gets a little bit green on the tips the iodine is between 60-80 ug. The polyps fluffy and full open is a sight of a good strontium level .

This is the BOLUS video I've been looking for :)What would you reccomend as far as a transition from kalk only to Balling Light Bolus? I'll soon hit my evaporation limit and would like to switch over. 80L (20G) water volume.

I have done a icp with you guys. Lot of trace elements show non detected. Do you use ms that can detect that low? Or do i probably have some in the tank. Also can you make a list of elements that precipitate/deplete very fast like iron (or are enough in food)that dont have to be dosed and elements that stay in solution and should be dosed.

Hi , without an idea about which tests and elements you talk. Please send your test to the support@faunamarin.de then we can do a check of your tests and see whats going on in your tank. We have other iCP which can detect lower then the standard blue but not yet a MS which is mostly not necessary

Well done you two 👏. Do youbjust follow how much bucarb to dose based on the daly consumptions? Say i need 100 ml of dkh portion of the balling light method to maintain 8.5dkh. I would just go ahead and dose all $100 ml at the same time in the morning at once? Also do you ramp up the light right away at start of photoperiod? How about keeping ph stable at night when no photo syntesis is taking place? Sorry for all the questions but i would love a clarification. Thanks a lot for everything you donfor the hobby. Bin super gespannt, nutze aktuell eine KH Lösung mit Natriumhydroxid, ich höre aber raus das Claude hier wohl kein Fan ist. Das mit den 120 % Licht habe ich noch nicht ganz verstanden, warte gespannt auf das HTU!

Ist das ganze auch sicher und vorteilhaft wenn man 2-3 KH Verbrauch am tag hat? Oder ist das eher nur für Becken mit verhältnismäßig großem Verhältnis von Wassermasse zu Korallenmasse?

Hi das ist auch bei 2-3 KH Save in dem Fall geht man einfach etwas hoher a den Start.

am besten sofort Dosieren und nach 30min licht an nach 30 min auf 120% für ca 3std

@@andreaskhernerreef4901 ja das habe ich verstanden. Meine frage wäre, ob ich die zusätzliche 20% mehr Licht gleich hochziehen kann oder zb über 4 Wochen langsam anpassen (5% woche)

@@markushoehle1207 ich bin nach umstellung der dosis auf 1x hab ich es sofort das licht angepasst aber achte auch auf das spectrum da gehst du evtl weiter runter und gehst schrittweise hoch, beobachte deine korallen aber auch. und vergiss nicht dein calcium verbrauch, es wird auch noch eine offizile schriftliche HTU kommen

How you can do it with T 5 dont get it??i mean can i use bolus with t5 sunpower non dimmable unit?

Yes sure you can also can use T5 start with 2 tubes 5 min then add other 4 to full power and let it stay till you reduce about 4 and rest with 2

@@FaunaMarin_Official how long to stay if i am running 11 hours? full power of 8 bulbs plus orphek led bars for how many hours Claude ? Can you be more specific pls?
