In today's video, we take a look at the Bomaker Odine 1 37" Soundbar. Decided to pick up the Bomaker Odine 1 37" Soundbar to add to our Office TV and wanted something that wasn't overly expensive but would hopefully give us some pretty decent sound. We were currently using a small soundbar that was really for a small PC. This is probably going to be a pretty nice upgrade in regards to sound. In this video, we connect the Bomaker Odine 1 37" Soundbar to our iPhone via Bluetooth and then connect it to our tv (where it will live permanently). Try out some youtube and of course, play a few games on the Xbox.

Definitely enjoy having the new soundbar. Watch a fair bit of youtube and occasionally play some box while I'm waiting for the computer to finish rendering or exporting. Sound is way better than my tv speakers. So far a great investment. What speakers/soundbar are you using? I actually bought this soundbar before seeing your review. So far, I'm very satisfied with it. Only drawback, via Optical, I cannot control the sound via my Sony Bravia sound volume control.

For some reason I cant use the firestick control for this soundbar unless i'm not doing right not really pratical

Great review. Thanks. I was just wondering are there any power and optical outputs coming from the back of the soundbar? That's the only thing putting me off the fact that the wires are coming out the side. Surely that'll look pretty ugly if wall mounted? Subscribed by the way!

everything is side mounted. im guessing they chose that so that the speaker could b mounted to a wall. thanks for the sub!

It's not available at the Amazon link. I'm guessing it was upgraded? Also, can't really easily buy it at the Bomaker site for US region. I guess maybe they have a newer one, not that it needed any update.

Hello, can sombody confirm iff this soundbar will turn on in the last set-up volume or every time you turn it on it will be at a factory volume. Ore can you set up the start up volume? Thanks!

Thanks for this review. I've been in the market for a soundbar, I bought a new TV before Christmas and while it's great in most respects the down-firing speakers aren't great as I live in a flat and they just don't sound entirely right. Looking for an affordable solution is a nightmare, there's so many Chinese brands I've never heard of and better known brands which are potentially over priced and made in China anyway. It's an absolute minefield, and there's so few trustworthy/well thought out reviews out there. Keep up the good work! I've put the Bomaker Odine on my Amazon wishlist for now so I can keep track of sales. I'm also looking at the Majority K2 which comes with a wireless sub, but I'm on the fence.

everything is made in china now. So really no matter which brand, you are correct, its probably coming from over there. Ive been happy with the bomaker gear in the past and have been using this speaker daily since i made the video. so far all good.

Another item added to the "didn't know I needed that" list. What I really need is volume control that balances all sound. That way, commercials or special effects (gunshots, loud engine sounds etc) won't be at level 10 with audio at level 3. This does put out a pretty good sound. I'm liking it. Batteries - Dollarama - get the red packaged ones.

Ive been using it all this past week. Very pleased with the sound and performance. And in regards to the sound effect volume control. I think a lot of that is done through the TV box. I know that are Apple TV has the ability to try and normalize the sounds. Seems to do a pretty good job. But i totally agree. You turn it up because you cant hear what they are saying and then BOOM. Something explodes and its WAY too loud.

I've had good experience with Bomaker soundbars as well... Although I find their newer stuff I find works much better... I compared a Tapio 7 to a Nova s50 and the newer is S50 is way way better even though they cost almost the same... Can't really say about the Odine 1 since I never had one. However I'd recommend anyone looking at one just go for the newer models. Only go from the older models like this on sale... Like the Tapio 1 Pro I got new for like 30$ for that price a bargain because it performs well above it's price range..

Speaker is ok....wont connect to my cell unless I unplug my firestick....stupid

thats not a problem with the speaker. Cell phones are limited by their bluetooth. And unless you are running bluetooth 5.3 they can only connect to one bluetooth audio device at a time. Thats standard. None of my cell phones can connect to more than one audio bluetooth device until i either they forget or our out of bluetooth range.

@@gregtoope ya I'm aware... my cell isnt connected to anything else and will not connect to the speaker because of my amazon fire stick on the TV is using the bluetooth..the stick takes over and wont allow the cell unless I unplug it.. it's fine just a pain in the ass is all.. even if I turn the tv off it still wants the firestick.

Quit why reviewers *never* test these soundbars Bluetooth with TV, as there is usually lag between lip syncing...is this too much to ask for?🙄

Generally it's not recommended to use Bluetooth with a TV since it can even cut off due to unrelated external interference from other devices.... A wired connection usually EARC or ARC is recommended..

@@mangakey well i use a wireless Bluetooth transmitter/receiver from my projector to my soundbar and the sync is great. (cost me 7 quid)
