Stop the ball (1) and pass on (2) in a split second, giving you the benefit of striking the ball when it is still, or almost, avoiding the energy at which it comes to you. Less effort and more accuracy.

Pass the ball to your teammate, high arching pass, he has to receive it and pass it back to you only touching it twice, and not letting it touch the ground, then you do the same, back and forth, each player touches the ball only twice every time.

Two (or more) players keep the ball from touching the ground by using the first touch to control (from the air) and the second touch to pass (in the air). Generally it’s just called “two touch”. (I play an easier version with my young kids that we call “don’t let me down”. In “Don’t Let Me Down” the ball IS allowed to bounce but NOT settle on the ground and the players aren’t limited to only two touches.)

Foden is becoming one of the best footballers. He was named Best footballer of the Premier League. I think he's better than Haaland or Mbappe. Better attitude than Mbappe.
