I hope Jedi 3 isn't bad, Fallen Order and Survivor were two of my favorite games in the last 10 years and two of the best star wars games I've ever played.

With the fact that EA withdraws from Star Wars games completley there are giant oportunities for Respawn veterans. Imagine their experience on Titanfall and Apex being put into Battlefront 3, with lightsaber gameplay similar to Jedi: Series. A man can dream.

I am so excited for 3, it better not suck. Fallen Order and Survivor are two of my favorite ever, they brought me into the Star Wars universe.

Here’s my hopes for Jedi 3: multiple colour customisation (ie a dual saber with a green and blue blade). Lowkey kinda wanna see tattooine, speeders, being able to drive actual speeders (with like aim assist so u don’t crash into walls constantly)

Not sure if it's really Jedi 3 news but it's definitley interesting! I just hope Respawn will keep up the great work. In these last two games Stig Asmussen was kinda like the Dave Filoni of the gaming sector at Lucasfilm and we all know what would happen if the real Dave Filoni would leave Star Wars. OMG... So, hopefully, they have someone new in the studio with the amount of vision that Stig had for these games. Or maybe, since Dave is now the main responsible one for the story of Star Wars and he had already shown quite an amount of affinity with the Jedi Game series with Ahsoka, they could bring him in (if he has time that is) and let him help and advice to create a story that builds on Stig's work but with this very special Dave touch. And don't forget STig always imagined the Jedi game series to be a trilogy, so I'd bet he has already given ideas and outlines for the story, influencing the story of Jedi III even though he's not in the studio anymore. Imagine Stig's and Dave's brains beeing fused together. If they did this, this could become a really great game!

Interesting, it's true that the industry has been going through a period where we see hd remakes, remasters, and sequels more than anything else. Though lately seems original Ips aren't completely gone as some new studios have popped up working on original Ips, Dan Houser one of the founders of Rockstar games departed Rockstar to work on an original open world series, two of the founding members of Rocksteady (Sefton Hill and Jamie Walker) left Rocksteady before the awful Suicide Squad Kills the Justice league to form their own studio and work on a bran new original action title. Now this with Giant Skull, these people all have proven track records and their making games that are actually new. Glad to see creativity in the AAA sphere isn't completely dead.

I really enjoyed story-wise the Jedi games. However, I just don't enjoy the parkour as in Fractured Determination and Momentum, and everything it took to get all the collectibles. I had hoped they would tone down the parkour for Survivor, but instead they raised it exponentially. The mechanics for the fractured parkour challenges were not consistent to nearly broken, and that was part of the problem. I am hesitant to even get into a Jedi 3 when it's released, I just want a straight fight, but I'll probably end up having to endure stressful parkour for that too.

My only hope is that is well optimized this time, Jedi Survivor is pretty much still broken on PC regarding performance. For sure I'm not gonna pre-buy this one and if the perfomance is so bad too, I'm not even going to buy it in the future obviously, is sad cause I love the story, gameplay and characters, I don't want to leave the world Respawn has created. If it wasn't because I wanted to watch the story unreveled so bad, I would have dropped the game after the first 5 hours without finishing it, and I rushed to finish it because of the perfomance issues I was having during the entire playthrough, instead of taking my time with the game which is what I usually do. I never pre-buy games, Jedi Survivor was the exception and I'm sure they lost the trust of a lot of PC gamers that we're fans of the game, shame on Respawn for not fixing yet the PC version, shame on EA for making them release it in that state. Even Cyberpunk 2077 runs much better (after a lot of fixing too, but at least they fixed it on PC), which is arguably a more demanding game or it should be, in Jedi Survivor there's still constant framedrops, stuttering and popping amongst other graphical issues.

I'm begging respawn to use the set up with dialog options and cals expirience with the dark side to give us a charma systm. I honestly hope they give us a story with two endings (light side/dark side) depending on how we choose it would be so so cool

It'd be cool if it was a third person mandalorian game where you could start out and explore mandalore and Concordia later. Have dlc like assassin's creed depending on whether you play as a male character or female character. So the dlc would be jango fett, boba Fett, Mando, pre vizsla and Bo Katan and Sabine armour. Be kind of like Star wars Jedi but more mandalorian type weapons. Maybe make them a bit force sensitive like limited abilities. Also be able to customize your ship and it's type. Would love to pilot a Mandalorian fighter!

If it's not about other planets or sword fighting of some kind, I don't see me playing it, also I'm very worried about the next Jedi game now! If G. Skull got an IP like Flash Gordon or Warlord of Mars then that Could be pretty dope though.

I think what the studio means is they have an understanding of what game genre they are going to make but have not yet decided anything else so no story no mechanics no concepts everything is just starting out. Think of it as a ball of clay that is getting ready to be moulded. But this studio does look very promising it's been a while since a new studio popped on my radar so I'm excited to see what there working on and on top of that the games industry as a whole atleast the triple A side of things have been growing very stagnant with all of the remakes and remasters especially when it comes to story driven games so it's exciting to see a already well trained and experienced team going out to potentially create a new IP

They should let people who know Star wars work on the next one. Sam Witwer, Dave Filoni, John Favreau ,etc. People who have proven their knowledge of the universe

I think they need to downgrade on the graphics or something because Jedi Survivor is almost unplayable and very frustrating to get through. I had to get a mod to lower the graphics more then you could in the game itself just for it not to crash on me. It still lags like crazy sometimes though.

that is worrying. afterall a game is made by ppl not studios. as you see with most long standing series when devs leave almost all the time the next game is different. and rarely if ever for the better.
