Fantastic museum. Actual aircraft not surviving type. Extensive collection. Free admission. Plan on spending a whole day at least. Does not disappoint if you are interested in military aircraft history.

The museum's aircraft is an RB-47 reconnaissance aircraft as opposed to being a bomber.

This museum is the real deal, best time I ever spent on vacation. Where else are you going to see actual planes from all world wars to date. Plus the Sr71 and the YF22 plus plus, oh yeah and IBM missiles one day is not enough. . One day is re

You are right, but it was done intentionally. I chose to leave them out a couple bombers were used for recon or weather. I realize after that it was the wrong choice. If I remake this video, I will include all of them.

Where were the B47 Stratojet and the F117, the first stealth bomber?

Good afternoon. The B-47 was not included as the museum’s displayed aircraft is an RB-47 Stratojet electronic reconnaissance aircraft and I limited to tour to planes that served as bombers. It was my decision, and you are not wrong for questioning that. As for the F-117 Nighthawk is classified as a fighter aircraft even though it was used as a bomber. Nice - but why say “although never used in combat” for the B-36 but not the B-58?

Did not mean to single you out - “B-36 never used in combat” for some reason appears in most reviews of the plane and seems to imply some sort of failure, when the B-36 was no different than other “never used” strategic nuclear bombers like the B-58, B-47, and B-50.
