@8chuz Yes and no. The kids, also, made many poor choices and broke the law. (Imo) To make a long story short, I broke the cycle of my abusive family. My brother (only sibling) ended up being toxic and I didn't. In other words, they are still at fault, as well as being victims too, imo. Being victims doesn't mean they are innocent and not disgusting.

Remind the jury of this young man's testimony. Which is even stronger because he told his parents at the time. So there are THREE people who confirm the story. Emma's husband has discredited himself with his whackadoodle comments about law enforcement. And Emma is coming across as truly suspicious and weird. Plus there's ALL the money Chad gave his "kids" I think the jury will be feeling just heart broken for Tammy in every way now.

Emma was sounding hostile as if she was following someone’s instructions. “Yes”, “no”, “no”,“yes”. She gave so little information except absolutely answering that question, like ‘pulling teeth’. ( ‘Good girl’, Emma, they want to put me in prison for the rest of my life and I didn’t do anything’, Chad will tell her). It is telling that her family doesn’t like law enforcement officers. She was harassing the FBI at her father’s home( “animal bones in the pet cemetery “ comment was adversarial, setting up the children’s story line for the defense.)

I think Tammy was suffocated with poison -- Ive heard there are drugs that are hard to trace -- and she took a photo of the pink foamy vomit -- which was 'mysteriously' deleted from her phone. How he will be watching his back and there will be no one to turn to for support. I 100% believe that emma is the next gen of twisting religion hiding behind a convoluted perversion of lds to get away w murdering for life insurance payouts. She woll just use what has been learned from lori and Chads mistakes and be more savvy in execution future murder plan. For instance, making sure she has an ironclad alibi, ensuring not to create any digital evidence in the planning and executing stages. Basically being super careful. She thinks shes more intelligent than everyone else. Shes devious and unbothered, imo, about being judged by anyone or by society. Imo, she would easily have the audacity to totally go for it, murdering for life insurance payout. If she can figure out how to make a murder look like an accident and there be no evidence w/ --to connect her to the crime'--she wouldnt care that everyone would "know" she did it;as long as she collected the payout.

I think with time they will be deprogrammed from the coercive control, but right now this has to be so overwhelming and confusing. I want to give them some grace and empathy especially because Tammy would want us to. It is aggravating though! I also know how we can get caught up in the moment and in our emotions on social media. I've done it too! So again thank you for a dialog we don't always get in the KZfaq comments. Lol

Pryor's line of questioning was ridiculous, when he tried to claim that if you couldn't remember the exact date, you wouldn't remember that a week had passed. I definitely would. If I saw a friend at work on a particular day of the week as usual, & the following week they told me their mother had suddenly died, I'd remember the event, but probably not the date. This young man did brilliantly, despite the desperate Pryor's shouted & breathy attempts at bullying. Well done Mackay.

@@juliao1255 NO. No, no, no. Garth Daybell is an adult, a husband, a father and a teacher. He is a free man who had FIVE long years to stop lying about his murdered mother and tell the truth. He needed to make a CHOICE, like many others did. He CHOSE to lie. He is indeed indoctrinated, as they all are, but he made a conscious choice to lie, knowing very well that it was wrong and against the law. He betrayed his poor mother's memory to help his murderous father evade legal consequences of his crimes. Garth Daybell is NOT the victim here! He is a free man who holds responsibility for many little ones, and he could have broken free, like many other cult members did. If he chose to lie due to fear, that makes him a coward, not a victim. Nothing prevents him from getting professional help, but he needs to face the consequences for lying for a murderer first. Let's stop this misplaced compassion and remember the REAL victims.

That could be the reason MacKay shared what Garth said his Dad wasn't home when he found his Mom.
