my friend showed me this song not too long ago, it's definitely one of the most beautiful things i've ever heard. it gives me a feeling of comfort but also makes me feel like the worlds falling apart. it's been rough these past few months and this song never fails to bring me peace for 2 minutes and 40 seconds of my day.

I asked for Bon Iver to be played while I delivered my baby. Literally the only request that was able to be fulfilled since my babe came two months early via emergency C-section. It helped my mental state so much to have them playing in the OR.

I collected all the things people have said and done to me in the past and turned it into something I always put as a voice in my head. It became clear how it broke me apart and was the primary reason why I hid from the world in the first place (even leaving social media). Today, I'm still trying to stand back up and live my life despite all the trauma I've experienced in the past. And mind you, I was still a kid and I never understood why I hated that part of me so much.
