This song brings back a lot of memories. It was my girlfriend at the time and my song. We were 16, I had just bought the album and played it for her. She said this is our song! I always remembered that. I’m 45 now and we somewhat had stayed friends and in touch but not often. Tonight she died of cancer. I feel for her husband and kids. I played this tonight loud in my living room as tribute to her. RIP Sarah.

Bon Jovi has made so many timeless songs, but this one especially is an absolute gem!

At first, I thought this was just another one of those 80s hair bands, but the more I listen to Bon Jovi, the more I realize he, and the band, are so much better than groups like Warrant, Motley Crue, Poison, etc. Bon Jovi, and Guns and Roses are probably the best of that era.

I use to play this on repeat back in 2000-2001 in my high school days. The lyrics take a whole different tune now that I'm older and have gone through my fair share of breakups. Such a beautiful but depressing song. Perfect.
