The fact that is was almost exactly a year after 9/11, jon probably planned this to happen in 2002 to help the crowd cheer up. This just shows how much of a good man jon is and how amazing the entirety of bon jovi is. Rock on, bon jovi!

I remember that day, I worked near Times Square and I was walking around the area after work that day. I was surprised by the amount of people, when I asked, they told me it was Bon Jovi giving a free presentation. Only in New York! Recuerdo ese día, trabajaba cerca de Times Square y caminaba por la zona ese día después del trabajo, me sorprendi por la cantidad de gente y al preguntar me dijeron que era Bon Jovi dando una presentación gratuita. Estas cosas solo pasaban en New York.

I saw him at Metlife Stadium in May 2009. It was pouring down crazy rain during the opening act and people still stood in the rain waiting for him, drenched. Best time of my life!!!!

When I was young between 14 and 18, the rock crowd I followed used to laugh at me because they listened to Bon Jovi, Guns in Roses! Nothing better than three decades later this group saying that Bon Jovi is one of the classic bands of good old rock.
