The Cartwrights are people who were raised with good moral standards by Ben Cartwright. Perhaps living in the less populated areas as children also kept them from some of the violence of the cities when they were growing up. This is just an observation not a known fact. They are not perfect by a long shot. They were raised to believe that if you can help someone, you do it. They didn't attend church regularly but they went when they could and they were believers. I would love having them as neighbours.

I can remember watching Bonanza with my family growing up. Brings back a lot of memories. Good ones.

The Cartrights are just so forgiving of others. They dont seek revenge or retribution when others do them wrong and try to find the good in everybody. I wish i could find a partner with a heart like Hoss'. ❤
