I don't know how I stumbled across this, maybe the Pretty Girl got my attention. I didn't think I'd want to see a Whole Hour before starting my day! With all of the Separation of Minds in The US, it's Makes people have a Different outlook in America! Hopefully one day we can have Peace among each other regardless to Race, & Political Affiliation! She got my attention, too.....I never watch Bonanza online, but I do watch it on tv with my mother. We both love this show, actually. I was watching a movie, earlier, called Greenland, on KZfaq, with a friend who's out of town, right now, and came across this , after the movie ended. At any rate, this should be good, with Ossie Davis! He is magnificent!!

This was so intense, I love how Hoss knew when to show up for the two actors that played weak character towards, first destroying the families chicken eggs, then beating on a child. There's always a moral, to shows like Bonanza and the Cartwright's always do the right thing to set an example and make the viewers think. Bonanza was a favorite of my father, he watched it religiously. I never saw this episode, I was in the US Army. The producers of the show were obviously addressing the social problems of the U.S. at that time and that still exist today. That's a sad state of affairs. We still have a great deal to accomplish. If not, the problem will destroy us all.

Do you REALIZE how long shows like Bonanza, were on the Air, before they could make episodes with storylines with African Americans characters as a part of the plot? I'm sure this episode was made when the show was heading towards the end of Bonanza's run on NBC. (The late 1960s Early 1970s maybe.)
@taffat363 жыл бұрын
I don't know about the rest of the cast but Dan Blocker was very much for equal rights and fair treatment of people. I'm sure this episode was very important to him. I'm not sure but I think that was also an episode about an opera singer showing up in Virginia City and everyone finding out he was actually black.
