"007 reporting for duty"
Man oh man what a character. I grew up with him and i believe Daniel Craig is the best James Bond so far. Following Craig as James Bond since Casino Royale has been a great pleasure. When he arrived to the franchise, and i saw Casino Royale for the first time it blew me away. His incarnation was nervous and charismatic, cocky and resourceful a perfect balance of Movie hero and the protagonist Fleming wrote. This era had a following background story. Bond and Vesper. Vesper had so much impact on this Bond and his molding of his personality in all 5 movies. He lost her in Casino Royale. He was blind by his quest of revenge in Quantum of Solace. He was mentally still affected by her loss in Specter, and finally forgave her in No Time To Die, adding an emotional depth to the character in a way that I didn't even think was possible, and had been never done to such depth before. I hope you enjoy this video.

Daniel Craig’s Bond was both most like the character Ian wrote about in the books and at the same time the least like the character in the books. And I think that’s why he’s irreplaceable and unforgettable and will likely be the most missed now that he’s walked away from the character. Daniel Graig, Forever Bond !!!!!

Craig was the bond of my generation. I didnt get interested in spy movies until kingsman, but when i started on bond i realised that there is a reason he is the best spy in the business (both the movie and spy industries). He will be missed.

I was stunned at the overall response to the announcement of Daniel Craig as Bond (the headlines like "A Blond Bond?", etc,,,). I was ecstatic at the announcement- Eon Productions needed to continue the reboot that started with Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan. Daniel Craig had a small role in "Munich" and I saw how he could project menace. I also thought about Laurence Olivier's quote - he was asked about playing the Nazi doctor/killer in "Marathon Man" because he usually plays warm & cuddly types. His response was "it's called acting."

I admit i was one of the ones who doubted Daniel Craig for this role. I was wrong...... very wrong. I will also miss Judy Dench in her role, but also felt it was right for her to go at the same time as Craig. They are very big shoes to fill .........

I don't think he made the most movies, but I pretty sure his span in the role was the longest of all the Bonds. The pandemic just extended his reign as the big guy. He'll be missed, the new guy has some big martini's to fill. Fair thee well mighty Hiawatha, fair the well. Bugs Bunny.

Definitely the best Bond actor, loads of respect for Sean Connery but Daniel Craig attained perfection ! If they continue the franchise, and I hope they do, no male actor so far can live up to Craigs legacy, no other choice than to switch to a woman ! It's the only logical follow up, even if the shoes will be very hard to fill, Lashana Lynch is an interesting choice but it's a tight gamble, the writers will have a tough job giving her a story that legitimises her in the role. Hope she's got what it takes !

You started nicely praising Daniel,i agree 100% but then...The amount of stupidity you just said its unbelievable🤦‍♂️ Bond will always continue,its a saga that started on a book,a character that has to be respected,James Bond is described as a caucasian middle aged charming guy that likes to seduce women and drink shaken martinis,thats it...the next one will be a man,after that another guy will take the role. No actor as brilliant as he performed the role will change that,the essence of the book will ALWAYS have to be respected...when the time comes that they want a girl to take the leading role of James Bond/007 they simply have to change the name of the film. Like Daniel himself said in some interview i've seen around here on youtube after he left the role. "James Bond is a guy that is a secret agent,women can be secret agents as well but they dont need to take a male role ,they are powerful enough to create their own saga" I totally agree with him.

What Daniel Craig means as James bond is something we all know. He's just unparalleled but the only sad part in all this for me is that it all could have been much more if he would've had good directors or movies with much better plot for the last two parts.

Lo so lo so che io e' venuta su dalla cantinetta di un condominio praticamente tutto germania e tedesco e voi volete sapere come hanno accolto io. Molto contenti, sono moltissimi i bambini, si voltano dall'altra parte ma sono molto contenti.
