Yeah, I don't see why you'd waste a turbo on something that already goes fast TBH. Sure it'll go a little faster, but a 60+6 is only 10% increase whereas 20+6 is a 30% increase. "it'll accelerate faster" not really necessary on fast tanks? Going from 20 to 22 p/w doesn't really matter because, hear me out, grousers also increase your p/w ratio by reducing your terrain resistance by generally 10% or more across the board which will give your effective p/w ratio the same boost as if you used a turbo. The only loss by using grousers is a lower top speed. So for the fastest vehicles, turbo doesn't do as much as grousers IMO. You shouldn't use turbo on a light. There are way better options. So Mediums would be the fastest vehicles you use it on. Look at the B-C 25 t With bond turbo; 71f/27b, p/w - 33.74, Hard - 0.90 Medium - 1 Soft - 1.60 Traverse - 42 With grousers; 65f/23b, p/w - 30 Hard - 0.78 Medium - .87 Soft - 1.39 Traverse - 50.42 Include the terrain resist, turbo p/w is 37.489 and grousers p/w is 38.46. So, with some little quick math. You can see on medium terrain, grousers will give you a 13% p/w boost. Hard terrain is a 13.33% increase. Soft is a 13.125% The math shows, no matter the terrain, Grousers will give you a higher p/w increase than even bond turbo while also giving you an insanely good traverse increase. The only benefit bond turbo actually brings is the increased top speed. So what you only need to consider with turbo is, how much speed does it give? is 65 to 71 worth it? No, not really. You'll definitely get more benefit from grousers giving you a higher effective p/w and traverse speed than turbo does. Especially in mediums because you don't run around at top speed a lot of the time. Yeah, getting into position a little earlier could potentially help, but what about the rest of the match when you're driving at 30-40 because you don't just go from one end of the map to the other constantly? You know, like ridge fighting or just using multiple bushes close together. You never reach top speed in that moment. So frankly, I think the youtubers putting the turbo on a fast tank, they're dumb. They didn't even bother to know that grousers have been boosting the p/w ratio that much the whole time. The only thing matter being the top speed and you don't play at speed the whole game. Only the beginning and maybe the very end.

@@cedrove7513 maybe they just forget the hidden stats or idk but yeah if you play on the terrain resistance and some other "features" like Strv103B can go +5-6km/h in assault mode and such with the turbo and other mobility units its usually 200 IQ tactic lights already fast enough what they need is survivalbility and a player that doesn"t die in the first 30 sec in the battle .

With 30mm of armor at tier 10, the 50B needs an advantage. Otherwise it's just an opportunistic pinata that usually loses the confrontation.

"Top performers". Please don't make me laugh... You need to be average at best to enter a ranked league. If you're below average, you need to play some more ranked and will get there too. If you're below average and don't play too often, then you most probably don't even care

Just stating a long the lines of you are power creeping those who already outperform a portion of the current player base. Still creating more of a gap between newer players and veterans of the game.

There needs to be a bigger divide between good and bad players. And it's clear that RNG really shortens the gap between good and bad and that's just not right

They were never a good idea. Wargaming doesnt understand that players want a fair fight against their opponents instead of just having straight up better statistics. This comes down to the bond equipment and the premium consumables and ammo. Its just piss poor game design

Yeah, nowadays I play wot only on sandbox and test server. For me, it isn't worth it playing in the "normal" server

Idk, i thought the beginning of the end was when the japanese heavy line came in. It was so obvious that WG gave 0 fucks at that point. for 85% of tanks facing the O-I exp, and O-I, the only hope of penning then was "flat rear with gold".

I guess my point was that when they introduced the super fast wheelies and didn't change the size of the maps, they bascially fundamentally changed the way the game was played, and not for the better IMO. Push W, fire as fast as you can, and then scarmble for the cleanup if you are still alive.

plus the HE nerf against heavies with Field Modification(specifically the modification that reduces HE damage by 30%) will make even FV4005/FV215b (183) HE useless against any heavy tank. Spall Liners and the HE nerf have reduced the damage caused by HE to Heavies by about 40-70%(depending on if it's a normal heavy or superheavy spall liner), so with Field Modification's 30% reduction to HE damage, it will be about 70-99% reduction for heavies taking HE damage. meaning that you can no longer use HE to make sure of cap resets with low calibre guns shooting at things like VK 100.01 P, O-Ho, Tiger 2, or any russian tier8 mediums and heavies.

Gold ammunition is literally a flat better alternative to standard ammunition, and now that it costs credits, people are encouraged to use it more often. Kind of making the point of gold rounds as a "only for emergencies" ammo type pretty much moot. EBRs are the fastest vehicles in the game and changed the pace of the game completely as a result. People were rewarded for being reckless and throwing their lives away, which in a team-based game which relies heavily on co-ordination and co-operation is the exact opposite of what WG should be encouraging. And I've *never* heard anyone complain about speed increases unless if it were through an absurdly broken piece of equipment such as this special turbo, bond turbo etc. Perhaps if you'd bother to look beyond what you think you know, you may understand people's frustrations.

I started a new account on NA because I moved to S.America and I have unicorn stats but it's not a lot of fun because they fuck about with the MM so much and half the games are over in less than five minutes with 0-15. What gets me is how they rig the MM for individual tanks. I have 55-59% WRs on most of my tanks but then random tanks just get cursed, most annoyingly with a bunch of tier VIII prems. I have 60% WR with my Bourrasque and S Pershing, but have 30% on my Kpz 07 RH. I was lucky enough to earn a 90% discount on the new german medium(Kpz 07 RH) and now, all I recieve is gold spam from everyone. 80mm armour, at best on that thing, and getting hit by 330mm pen HEAT from tier10 meds, and 395-420mm pen HEAT from tier10 TD's.
