Bondi Rescue follows the work of the elite professional Lifeguards who patrol Australia’s busiest beach. This is Australia’s real life Baywatch! Taking the viewers on their journey through mass rescues, drownings, resuscitations, shark sightings, and all number of the weird and wonderful experiences Bondi Beach dishes up.
In #BondiRescue the audience sees the action through the eyes of real characters and #lifeguards like Hoppo, Deano, Reidy, Jesse, Maxi, Whippet and Harries, as they catch thieves, perform CPR, make drug busts, break up fights, and even handle a navy bomb that washes ashore one afternoon. Every year throws up new and completely unexpected challenges, and how lifeguards adapt is what makes Bondi Rescue a show that’s about much more than swimmers being saved in the surf.

I spent around 7 months in the hospital with covid in 2021. I wasn't supposed to make it. A less than 10% chance with a ventilator and ecmo. I was running out of the will and strength to keep pushing. Then I found this show. I watched it anytime I was awake in my room. It became the one thing I enjoyed and looked forward to. All that to say, he saved at least 1 other life that wasn't even in the water of Bondi from thousands of miles away. They may never know it, but these guys are heroes to me. I wouldn't have made it without them.

@@zarahofshiloh7537One of Terrys sons died only 10 days old due to complications during birth…. He was talking about it in one episode when he rescued a young girl…. Terry passed away in September 2022 after battling with prostate cancer

I am from Canada and I have been following the video series for few years. Each member of the lifeguard’s team is important and will be remembered through the videos. However, Terry was a very good man. His memory will remain in our hearts around the world and my prays goes to his family , his colleagues and his close friends. He will never be forgotten ❤❤❤❤❤

I actually remember him really well. I learnt to surf around Norah head area and he was a bit of a legend in the 80s and 90s into the 00s. He was a great surfer and lifeguard. I can remember him training for the Hawaiian sea paddling he competed in. He would paddle his board from Norah head boat ramp around bird island and back. He was a champion of a person who put alot more into the community than most people will ever realise

Terry seemed like a very genuine, compassionate, and knowledgeable person. I know it has to be a hard loss for your team, his family, his friends, and the community. The tribute you had for him was a perfect send off. I have been a NICU nurse for 20 years. We had the same sorts of bonds with our teammates. When you are dealing with life and death situations, your teammates become your family. The best way to honor Terry is to continue sharing memories of him and to pass on the knowledge that he shared with each of you, to new lifeguards. It might bring up a few tears, but that's ok. It's expected and it's how you begin to heal. Wishing you all the best as you each grieve in your own way and time. Rest easy, Terry, and be at peace.🐚🌊

I’m a newcomer to the fandom. I’ve been seeing so many comments about how missed Terry is, but I had yet to come across a video that explicitly mentions his passing. This tribute is so indicative of the people of that country and that's throughout the years they have never shied away from showing their emotions.... It's always had this human touch.... Terry was amazing and is now with his son in riding the waves with him... I can't describe how upset i am about Terry's passing. Terry was one of the most sweetest people i've ever seen, even if it was just through a screen. he was not only an amazing lifeguard but he also took the time to show parents or kids were they had gone wrong. he likely died knowing how loved and cared for he was. words cant describe how sad the bondi baddies must feel. i hope you are all well and know that hes looking over you, may his memory live on in your brains, his love in your heart and his ife in your sou;

I really enjoyed watching Terry the lifeguard. He was such a great lifeguard. He had some really amazing saves. RIP Terry. Bondi I just lost my dad on March 25th I have been extremely depressed I miss my dad everyday.

RIP Terry. You were a true hero and now you are an Angel. The amount of people he saved. Terry was one of my fave life guards on Bondi. My heart goes out to his family and friends 🧡. He was an amazing guy. Respected and Loved. Two years and feels so sudden still.

I will never meet the Bondi lifeguards but I really wish the best for all of them in life. Thank you Terry. And thank you to all the lifeguards out there giving your time and had spent/spending your lives doing this. Rest In Peace and Love Mr Terry.

I haven't been watching Bondi Rescue for very long, but I've watched so many videos and its easy to see how wonderful and amazing Terry was

i used to watch bondi beach a long time ago, but i will never forget Terry, i remember his face like i watched the videos yesterday, it's sad to see somone you watched go, may he rest in peace and fly high with all the people he knows up there
