Hi bondi just want to ty for your videos, I've been fighting cancer for two yrs now this is my second time going through cancer, this time it is on my cervix, pancreas,and liver Im to sick and on to much pain to go anywhere or doing anything, so one day I was strolling on you tube and came across one of your magnet videos been booked every sence, I just love your video I get to see the world through your eyes ,you keep my mind off the pain , you crack me up,. Everything is massive lol. I do look forward magnet🧲 fishing when I get better, I don't have my magnet yet but when I I'm nameing it, my Bondi. @@1ihnut - Doing it together with other people is the best. Leigh's videos are proof of that. I'm looking out for friends with magnets as well. Luckily I live nearby Amsterdam, so I hope to run into Bondi Treasure Hunter and Remon and Dennis and Hennie soon. Would be great to see it all happening in real life ... and cast a magnet myself as well. Yeewww !! :-)

Ive never had a bucket list but after watching u I got 1 and the frst on list is to magnet fish,2nd is to come over there and magnet fish w/u. I started scrapping 3 yrs ago after watching scrappers online.doing good and better as I go along.Found ur channel and its gotten into my head.

Magnet fishing is really good for the environment, just think of all the oil, paint chemicals, micro plastics, metals that are no longer slowly seeping into the water, everytime you pull something out the canal. Great work!

Hi Leigh, just watched this vid, cool. Love the industrial sites you visit. I’m sure you know this but just in case there is also a tooth pick in your Swiss Army knife, it’s located on the opposite side to the tweezers and fits exactly like the tweezers, kind of a light yellow beige colour. You would probably find it helpful to get a 'grabberstick'. It is a device that enables you to reach further than your arms & grab hold of things. You could use it to reach down to the water level & get an extra grip on things. You might need a friend to help you.

Vinegar is a mild acid. Baking soda is an acid neutralizer. Mixing the two for soaking rusty steel is not effective. However, a thorough vinegar soak requires a thorough baking soda scrub and rinse. Vinegar is a very effective way to clean rusty files, but insufficient baking soda scrub results in a rusty file in the drawer a few weeks later. Avoiding vinegar soak on objects with articulated features is recommended. As it's nearly impossible to neutralize the acid in hard to scrub joinery. Thank you for your consideration.
