With my bone graft.. blood was taken from my arm and added to the graft. I wasn't even told what the material of the bone graft was or if I had a choice.. These days it's like don't ask any questions--just do as I say.. after all I am the oral surgeon.

@ShirleyKristen Hello Ma'am. Did your bone graft healed well ? My gums where the membrane was is still dark red ? It is still raw when i touched it ? Is your gums where the membrane was healed well ? is the gums underneath same color of your normal gums ? Thanks.

How is the appearance of the overall gum after the procedure gets over. Do you feel anything un-natural at the bone graft site? I heard that this procedure just starts a body reaction and body replaces the grafted bone with the natural bone. Plz reply

I had a bone graft 6 months ago on tooth # 9 and the site underneath the tooth where the membrane was.It is still dark red. Is that normal ? Anybody can comment if you have the same experience. Thanks.

Facts. I am in tech and make great money. My dad has been blue collar worker his entire life. His doctor never brought it up. I made an appointment for him with my dentist so they would discuss it with him. His dentist said nothing.
