God I wish the Bone story would get its own animated series, its got chock full of comedy, drama, action, and some creepy moments. A bit heartbroken after hearing the news its not going on Netflix, I really wanted to see the moments from the books where Gran'ma Ben yells and chases the Bone Cousins and the Rat Creatures during the end of the Cow Race (It was pretty funny lol) or when Phoney Bone convinced the town he was a Dragonslayer! There are nine books and I wonder how many seasons that would have made (maybe two books in each season?).

It's a strange coincidence that I had the urge to look up Bone again after all these years, and here you are uploading an amazing animated short just two weeks ago. Great work!

I've always loved this series and still have the books. I wish it was an animated series

30 years? Man, I'm feeling old now. I was a huge fan of the comic back in the day. Beautiful work and a terrific tribute, Ed. This is what Bone should look like when it finally gets animated (I think Netflix has the rights now). Hollywood tends to overproduce projects like this. We end up with The Sony Smurfs instead of something more faithful to Peyo's works.

Honestly some great work here, it's a shame that the "people" at Netflix canceled this but yet made Cuties (A very controversial documentary)

This really lives up to the source material!

I miss reading this book series and after hearing about it getting turned into an animated series, I flipped out and kept thinking, "I can't wait to see the comedy, drama, horror and action from the Bone books become a tv show!" Sure it will be a reenactment of lines and moments from the graphic novels, it might have some different dialogue and scenes here and there, but man, the fact this is happening, I can't help but smile. This was my favorite story growing up, best parts when reading has to be 1. The rivalry between Lucious and Phoney when they fight over ownership of the bar. 2. Near the end of the Great Cow Race where the Bone Cousins and the two Rat Creatures were in a pile and ran screaming altogether after hearing Grandma Ben making a war cry. 😂 3. The part during Book 8 where the Bees and Soldiers broke into a fight with Grandma Ben showing up and pummeling the big insects in her way. If Netflix won't pick this I hope some other studio out there will.

Oh my gosh nostalgia hit me like a truck. this comic book was part of my childhood. This animation is a solid 10 out of 10! 😎👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I use to love this comic when I was a little kid. It was very action packed, suspenseful, and pretty scary (at least for my age when I was reading it)

This animation is so incredible. Your use of cinematography really elevates the look of the final product. The depth of field, panning and zooming etc are all great. And the background art is amazing as well

I remember the first time seeing Bone in an issue of Disney Adventures magazine growing up. This looks so good. It is like seeing the panels coming to life with the line and color style, the music is paired so well to this sequence. Awesome thank you for inspiration.

I love bone.I read black drawing but it s so good.it only has black and white.no grey .And ita so good.animation is very good .I hope netflix dont make a live action like anime's.I know that they'll make animation. But we are tapping about netflix. They can do anything any time

I was looking at an antique / collectors shop (a lot of newer stuff too) and found the BONE Holiday Special comic and thought it was dope, still have all the graphic novels and even the light novels in my closet. Gonna reread it now lol but this is awesome, great work!
