Love these longer comprehensive videos, especially for board review. I enjoy these, the added clinical is helpful, sort of like Cockerell's lectures!

You are very kind. For the past decade I have been doing almost exclusively skin, Bone, and soft tissue. So my expertise is in those areas. My knowledge of pathology in other organ systems is more basic.

Jerad, excellent presentation, thanks a lot. Can you teach us how to do a presentation like this using pathpresenter.net I understand that you can download power point images Pathpresenter, not videos. I believe you are using only images and not videos to create your Pathpresenter presentation. If you are using low power images and you zoom them, how the detail looks so good in high power; when you zoom a low power image normally the quality of the image is very poor; are you scanning slides using a similar platform similar to the one that Neogenomics is using ? I am so intrigued how you do this presentation because honestly it is extremely good. Maybe you have an extraordinary camera but the quality of the images is perfect. How you convert a Pathpresenter conference with images to a video platform, what do you use? Is that possible with only Pathpresenter or do you need to move the pathpresenter files to a Video platform like IMovie or Final Cut ? I suspect that you are looking at the pathpresenter conference and recording you screen computer as video using Quick Time or something similar and then moving the recorded video to something like Final Cut to edit and export to You tube. Please teach us your technique, it will be greatly appreciated for us.....
@user-te9uc2hg3u4 жыл бұрын
Andres Angel these are not usual pictures (snapshots) but scans of the slides. As I understand it (never used pathpresenter myself), you just upload the scans there in their original format.

For this bone and soft tissue review video, I used whole slide images on pathpresenter and pulled them up on my chrome browser. Then I opened a Zoom room and used screen record function. But you record screen with QuickTime in the same way. I used to use QuickTime but now I prefer Zoom because it's very easy and I can use it for remote teaching simultaneously
