Eazy E was the one who signed Bone Thugs to Ruthless Records back in 1993…he then died in 1995 and this song was dedicated to him. So what happened was theres an original version to this song called “Crossroad” which they oroginally made for some of thier childhood froends and family who had passed away…but when Eazy died (who was thier mentor)…they felt like they had to go back and redo the song for him and this is what we got. The song blew up and they won a grammy for it
