They really filmed the whole ambush. A drunken boots hinton who has made money of it his entire life let it out drunk one nite. He said they knew within 20ftof where clyde would either stop or be crawling along so slow that they would just ooen up on them. What they didn't count on was oakley jumping up first out of nerves ir what but the first shot blew Clydes head half off blood shot all over Bonnie and she started screaming so they all just started firing another 160 rounds or so to make sure 90lb Bonnie was dead... Who never shot anyone. According to boots the footage showed clyde dead right away and they hesitated a second before unloading. Looks bad more like they murdered a screaming women when the real killer was slready dead. So u only see 5 minutes after film
@machivellisucstwogo71032 жыл бұрын
@@donaldoneill2117 is that film available?
@donaldoneill21172 жыл бұрын
@@machivellisucstwogo7103 the film is property of boots Hinton who is probably dead by now. He was son of Ted who like I said knew BONNIE and she turned him down for a date. Probably went up his ass, and he was glad to send her to the grave. Also Bonnie never killed anyone. 2 coos on motorcycles killed April 1st 1934, Easter Sunday was done by Henry METHYN, Clyde broke him out of Eastham prison previous January. They killed a guard which sent Frank Hammer on their trail. To make Bonnie seem viscous and make the public turn on her too was so the public would accept murdering a women...all 90lbs of her. As for film I'm sure it has stayed in Hinton family and we only get the sanitized version of actual film...why soil Hinton family name and the rest of officers at ambush..a warning?? Are u kidding me, plain murder. 167 bullet holes in car, I put my finger in one of holes in 73 when real car wS still touring. No the story always goes to the Victor's, right. First shot killed Clyde why the extra 150 plus...

I saw my 1st Bonnie Clyde car back in the mid 50's. It was shipped around in a truck and could be seen for 50 cents at the carnival. We were assured it was the real car. The real car will perfectly match the original photographed bullet holes. The original film frames enlarged and carefully compared will expose all fakes. It's impossible to perfectly match the original holes and peripheral damage. Even if gigs were setup and the original guns used, the damage would differ.

I worked with my father at "Barris Kustom" and "California Show Cars" back in the 70s. We had this "Bonnie & Clyde Car" back then. It's not the car Bonnie & Clyde were driving, and it's not the car that was used in the movie "Bonnie & Clyde", it's a car that was promoted as the one in the movie to promote the movie and was in "Car Shows" and rented out as an attraction for promotions and events for several years after the movie came out. I can't say for sure, of course, that this is that car. I was only 14 years old when I first saw it, but I spent a lot of time with that car and I'd bet heavy on it. George Barris and Jay Orberg both bought and sold and rented cars to each other back then. Jay owned that car when I first saw it back in 1973. Barris bought it shortly after, along with a lot of other show cars Jay sold him.

@@marcanders-zl5et Can't say I know him, but I left California in late `88. If he worked at Barris Kustom then we probably have some mutual acquaintances. I was very lucky to work with the folks I did there. George didn't really build cars, but he was good at promoting custom and show cars and I did meet a lot of famous and wealthy folks working there. But the guys I worked with were very talented. "Tubs" was the painter there, Joe Lieva did upholstery, Elmer Pecka and George and Katy Goudy were the best of the best at fiberglass work. Ross Raines did the polishing and detail work. He made those cars sparkle. My father, Jim Stephenson, and Dennis Braid, were probably the best metal men in the business back then, and my father was probably the best. Dean Jefferies was also very good at both fiberglass and metal work, and I got to work on some cars he worked on, but never got to work with him. He had two kids my age that worked for him. I have no idea if they run the shop he had, but it was a nice shop, way bigger than Georges shop and some very nice tools too. I started working with my father when I was 14 years old at Barris Kustom and was pretty good by the time I was in my 20s. I mostly did metal work. So, building chassis and bodies out of steel. I didn't do aluminum, that's an art all by itself. But I did get to work with and know Will Phillips a bit and he was amazing at forming car bodies out of aluminum. There is a youtube channel called "RÜNGE CARS" and he builds little custom sports cars and hand forms the bodies out of aluminum, and he's good. Right up there with Will Phillps good. He has some great videos showing how those cars are built, and way better tools than we had. :D

The wheels were rusty & still had old red paint, The car looked a dirty gray, The chrome was dual & rusty & still had the back driver side glass in car, Old & busted. Driver door was tied with old small rope, This old car look as tired as it was old, Had the looks of driven hard & lived in for sure, You could feel from this old car she had death all around her at one time. @@gustav_gues I doubt it. Just like today, you can't believe a WORD of the print media. Bonnie & Clyde were just scapegoats. Victims of the law in an effort to prove a point. Most Historians figure they never stole anymore than 8 to 10,000 dollars and it can't be definitively proven if they even murdered a single person. There is one prison guard who MAY have been killed by Clyde, but it could've also been the person Clyde was breaking out of jail at the time. 80 years later we have no way of proving that other than circumstantial evidence. So, at worst.... they kidnapped a few people and robbed a few banks. Does that justify being murdered in cold blood? Only to a government trying to control the people it does.

The One on display at Whiskey Pete’s is the real one I was there in 2019 and much to my travel buddies disdain and boredom I spent a nearly 2 hours comparing the bullet holes to the video taken of the car after the Ambush - it’s authentic you couldn’t fake it as even the way metal is twisted and dinted at the bullet entry points is the same - I think there is about 5 other fakes but they have king given up arguing since KZfaq has the original video posted

I live in Las Vegas and planned to compare the KZfaq vid on my I Pad to the car you seem to have already checked out. I think you have saved me a lot of time!

Are the seats still covered in blood stains?

Yes, I've seen the car also at Whiskey Pete's, Primm NV. That's the real one for sure. I made a lot of pictures and compared them with the original pictures. The bullet holes are one on one, it is not possible to reproduce it so exactly on another car.

The only thing that don’t match up at whiskey petes is the passenger rear window from old footage of the original,possibly it fell out and they put another one in but not the same by far.

Those ole boys could have used a few lessons in accuracy. The targets were both in the front seat and those jokers shot the whole damned car up including the spotlights and roof..... I thought Clydes car was grey

At the end of this video, they show you the real car right after it happened and you can tell the bullet holes don't line up with this one. Bonnie and Clyde could have been taken alive if the lawmen wanted to. Assuming Ivy Methvin was really cooperating with them and knowing that Bonnie and Clyde were going to meet at Ivy's house, the lawmen could have already been inside the house ready to take them without a shot being fired. B/C would have felt safe and been relaxed not even holding a weapon. Not justifying what they did but they were murdered. Had they gone to trial and everything they would have got the chair. Clyde would have probably taken the wrap for everything to spare Bonnie so he for sure would have been executed with Bonnie getting life. Given that they killed 9 law enforcement officers is what probably fueled the revenge the posse wanted.

Fraud. Thje bullet holes don't match the photos taken at the scene.

This is the real one. The shot up Clyde side, passing thru him killing Bonnie hence the exit holes on her side. The steering wheel is the key. The video after the shooting shows the wheel as shown here, the windshield on her side is same as well.
