Excellent interview by part 5 it glues you by the ears, kudos!

This lady is so honest, forthright, and sincere. A shame she was incarcerated for a year for what amounted to protecting a family member she loved and a potential brother-in-law she was evidently fond of. A revelation in comparison to how people who fall, through dismal circumstances, into a life of crime, are spoken about by family member and the victims of family members. This lady truly had the rare grace of seeing the good in people, apart from their actions and behaviors, and therefore was able to speak with conviction, sincerity, deep understanding, and---rarest of all---forgiveness about two people whom she plainly loved.

Yes this is true, its Bonnie Parkers sister Billie Jean {Parker} Mace, this interview was done in 1968........

They wouldn't give a young clyde a break

Nowadays Bonnie and Clyde would get a Police Warning and a slap on the wrist and given help. In those days it was so easy to put people away for simple crimes. The only positive thing is that when you read the true story you have so much sympathy that you realise that it was the circumstances at the time that caused this.......
