Pretty easy to follow.
Bonnie is jealous of the way Damon is looking at Elena, she tries to take some distance but can't help but be worried about him.. Some day Katherine comes back in town and Bonnie is her chosen victim. Damon has to kill her to protect Bonnie, Damon can't deal with killing Katherine and leaves

beautiful! its sucks it didnt happen in the books and it didnt happen in tv series but i so love this couple! They are perfect and kat is super awesome in this series and damon is beyond damn sexy XD

I believe in the original author's fan fic she had to resort to in order to have her version put out, she had Bamon as endgame. The publishing house didn't like the direction of her story and kicked her off the books, then took over the publishing, finishing it the opposite of what L.J. Smith wrote. In their version, Bonnie ended up with a freakin' werewolf for a husband. 🙄

@akr21hey There is chemistry between them in the TV series, but also many people have read the books first, and whilst the plot and characters are completely different, many people where Bamon fans there as Bonnie DID love Damon and Damon had some form of feelings for Bonnie. So a lot of people's support from Bamon carried over from the books xxx

uh thats so not true! Did you watch the rest of the episode>? Damon loves Elena but shes with Stefan and Bonnie and Jeremy start to show interest in each other and Bonnie is not Katherines next victim.
