I love how the second season is basically just watching Vanessa fall apart a little more with each episode.

SO many things to love about this. Dennis' terrible dancing. Trevor's improved fire safety response (if having a jug of water already in your hand can be counted a "response"). The look on Vanessa's face as she almost eats the sausage. Charlie Russell visibly corpsing during the drawn-out "eeeerrrmmm..." Amazing. Five stars.

Whoever came along with the idea of turning Dennis into a court jester is a genius, he is just too natural for the part.

Vanessa is the only one who seems seriously thrown off, the rest of the troupe has just learned to roll with Dennis by this point.

And this is why Vanessa should avoid serving goose at her and Dennis’ wedding on June 6th.

Fantastic acting by Bryony Corrigan. Her character Vanessa just sticks to the script regardless and can't improvise due to her lack of self confidence as showed in the Cornley Drama Festival. Also the way she keeps getting hit and smacked by things and taking them full on like a pro is amazing

Whenever Dennis is doing anything, Vanessa's expressions are the funniest

Truly, this is the only thing Shakespeare would have wanted his legacy to be.

True story: I played Seymour in little Shop of Horrors. Now, in songs, as long as I have the first line of a verse in my head, I am good. One evening, in the middle of the song "Grow For me" I blanked. Nothing. Verse coming up, nothing in my brain. To this day, I don't know how, but I made up lyrics that fit the song, fit the rhythm, and rhymed. And unless you really knew the show well, you'd not have noticed, or thought "Huh, different lyrics in the show than the cast album. interesting." Afterwards the musical director said "What was THAT?" I explained what happened, and he marveled at the way I managed to not fall flat on my face. So did I, actually, I had never had that particular thing happen before. But it was good to know I could get myself out of it. Necessity being the mother and father of invention... Especially onstage when the last thing you want is to go up mid song. So this was doubly hilarious for me. And not a little traumatic in terms of flashback...

Got this song stuck in my head while I was at work. Vanessa continually getting pissed at Dennis this season was great.

This does sound way more like a bawdy jester court song than I assume the "goes right" version would have.

Just seeing Dennis (Jonathan) waddle about at the start gets me laughing. Genius!

One of my favorite things about this is that this is supposed to be modeled after a Shakespeare play. A lot of the jokes in Shakespeare's plays were described as bawdy, and in fact, the man loved a good sex joke. Look up the meaning of the title of the play 'Much Ado about Nothing' for proof. Dennis's improv lyrics might have actually worked if he found a way to put it into Shakespearian language

So I just learned this, and its most probable that everyone else already knows, but its actually "Bonny", not "Bonnie". The word Bonny means "Attractive or Beautiful" so the song is supposed to be about a beautiful girl. But we all know what it turns into at the end lol

I’m honestly impressed Dennis was able to make this up instead of something else or freezing.

My favourite background detail is that Trevor used the water to extinguish the fire and then at 1:00 he has to mime filling the cup

This is quite possibly the greatest show of all time! Up there with Horrible Histories and Clone Wars and Batman The Animated Series

The goes wrong show is the best comedy I’ve ever seen, it’s amazing and the second verse is G O L D
