thank you for posting this. i attended this show (and was photographed outside, wish i could find the blog post), was absolutely blown back by this performance, and revisit this video a few times a year. i am grateful that you captured this.

She's only 35 years old - why would her voice be compromised at that age?

@@PTS74 According to an August 2020 interview with Pitchfork, she has a thyroid related autoimmune disease, and a history of alcohol use. Depression and isolation and the stress of this work keeping her away from home for extended periods don't help either. "The toll that has taken on my body has been really rough, and I feel like I have aged rapidly". Edit: In an October 2020 interview with Hotpress she mentions catching a bad case of what seemed to be strep throat and taking some time off, discovering that on her sick leave some people had turned against her for not actively speaking out about what happened with George Floyd (stressful). She mentions being unhappy with her weight, having abused her thyroid medication to control her metabolism, and other unhealthy habits for similar reasons. The industry chews people up.

Love that Angel decides it's time to stop f+cking about and she just blasts it out. Prince Billy looks as if he was disappointed and wanted to mess about with his buddy for a while more.
