I visited this jail a couple of years ago with the Tucson Retreads M/C club, & Mr. Bono was a delightful host who explained everting about the jail & the surrounding area. We all had lunch on the picnic tables he has set up. He's a Marine Veteran

There is a grave of a Chinese man in the cemetery and his headstone reads 'I See You Tomorrow'. Also, my geologist college buddies and I figured out how to get into an old mine on the back side of one of the mountains there, work our way through to the other side, go down to the Gleeson store to get a coke, then go back up to the mine and work our way back to the car on the other side.

I'm real glad that a resident owns the place now because its a real treasure.

My great Grandfather ( John B Kelley ) lived in Gleason with his wife and 3 daughters , He was a mining engineer and I think had a copper mine there.
