This song always brings me to a particular scene. It’s the night, i’m in my small bedroom, it’s a bit dark in it. I’m looking through the window and stare at the moon. I also look at the other flats and buildings, it seems that i’m in a suburb, some boys are playing football or are skating down the street. I feel extremely sad and melancholic. I don’t know why. I look back in my bedroom and it seems that nothing’s real, i’m in a sort of animated world, more like a video game. It’s really strange

Océane, je ne sais pas si tu verras ce commentaire un jour, cela fait maintenant presque 10 ans que nous nous sommes dit au revoir. À l'époque nous étions jeunes et j'étais con. Depuis toutes ces années je m'en veux de comment notre relation s'est terminée. Lorsque tu es partie en NZ, j'ai été beaucoup affecté et cela a précipité la chute de mon égo. J'ai fais énormément de chemin, je me suis perdu puis retrouvé. Cela à été long et je suis maintenant heureux. J'ai trouvé quelqu'un avec qui je suis depuis maintenant 5 ans. Je cherche ton nom parfois sur internet, je vérifie que tout va bien et que tu es heureuse avec ton compagnon et ton fils. Ton souvenir ne m'a jamais vraiment quitté, je me souviens de ton parfum, de tes long cheveux dorés, de l'odeur de ton appartement. Je pense parfois aussi à ton chien "jack" qui a du mourir depuis de vieillesse. Lorsque tu es partie, j'ai passé de nombreuses soirées devant ta porte à attendre que tu sorte, assis sur la moquette du couloir de notre résidence étudiante, jusqu'au jour ou un nouveau locataire a pris ton appartement. Je n'ai pu supporter et j'ai déménagé. J'ai plongé la tête la première dans la drogue, s'en est suivie d'une longue période de 3 ans de dépression, semant le KO autour de moi, de solitude, de relation toxique, d'autodestruction. Je suis sorti de cette tourmente il y a 5 ans, j'ai de nouveau trouvé un équilibre, mais ton souvenir reste encré, autant que cette musique. Quelques secondes de ce son me transporte en arrière. Je me rappelle de toutes ces soirées à écouter de la musique. À rigoler, échanger, refaire le monde. À fumer des joints. Ton regard malicieux, et ton rire si reconnaissable. Nous partagions beaucoup, que ce soit en terme de vécu mais aussi d'idéologie. Je n'ai jamais retrouvé ce sentiment d'être autant en phase avec quelqu'un. Je m'en veux terriblement de la façon dont j'étais si immature, si je devais revivre cette période de ma vie, j'aurai surement changé mille choses. Je n'ai jamais osé te recontacter, par pudeur mais également car cette période est derrière toi désormais et j'ai toujours eu peur que tu n'ai été plus importante à mes yeux que moi aux tiens. Pendant de nombreux mois j'ai pensé que si ça se trouve ton fils était peut être le miens. Mais au fur et a mesure du temps j'ai compris que je me faisais des films et que c'était impossible. Je suis heureux de ce que tu es devenue. Je te souhaite le meilleur, d'être heureuse, comblée, à toi et toute ta petite famille. Au revoir Océane, à bientôt dans mes souvenirs et dans mes rêves.
