I'm sorry, I seem to be missing something here. I thought the Bonsai was to be created and treated with love. I live in Ontario Canada, grew up in the north and know what really old, time, wind and God twisted pines look like and love them. This tree seemed to have had a lot more to work with in the beginning then the results would appear show. i think too much ended up on the ground and it will be years before this tree is beautiful again, while it could have remained beautiful all the way along it's development.

The video seems to be missing audio... is that intentional? I'd love to hear what they're discussing. :)

Wonder how long it had been allowed to grow unstyled?

I feel bad for this tree. far too much foliage removed. It will take years to get back its vigor.
