Bonsai Juniper Nana Love & Attention

21 күн бұрынI am showing required maintenance for a Bonsai. This one is going in a show soon, so she must look her best! I brushed branches and trunk with a brass wire brush. I also trimmed on branches. I did some weeding also. Cleaning the pot with my little pumice stone was a bit of a job. The pot really looks and feels nice now. I think she is ready to be in the spotlight!

Can I ask, when you are 'brushing' the Nana what are you doing? The video moves a bit to quickly to actually see what you're doing. I've never heard of 'brushing' before so any help will be most appreciated.

I use a Brass metal brush, one u can get at a hardware store. I am brushing carefully. Some trees r more sensitive than others. The Juniper Nana is not so sensitive but I am still trying to b careful. I am brushing to remove moss build up and anything that attaches to the trunk and branches. We have many where I live, so it is a constant chore. Hope this helps! I fast forward cause its kinda boring, but I will try to show better in future video! Happy Bonsai!
