Paul may not be everyone's favorite, but you have to respect his mic work. This guy is a legend on cutting promos.

Corny is one of the few people whose podcast I listen to and don't get upset if he re-tells a story, because every time he tells it, its just as entertaining the second or third time as it is the first.

Heyman and Cornette are my 2 favorite minds in wrestling.

Paul Heyman was a better booker than Russo ever will be. Paul ran a wrestling promotion well with limited resources. Russo bankrupted Dixie Carter and made her lose a tv deal with Spike tv. Paul Heyman did a great job. Russo lasted a year at WCW, Paul was there a lot longer.

I’ll remember Paul Heyman as the booker of the golden era of SmackDown with the SD 6 Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Edge, Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio and Undertaker it sucked that Vince was so jealous and pissed that SD was better than Raw he fired Heyman and it wasn’t as good after he left

I think Paul E would have been better than Michael Hayes on that Table for 3 with Corny and Eric.

Paul did a promo that he got so worked up he was drooling at the end- corny gave himself a nosebleed both guys are amazing.

I love both Heyman and Cornette. They both have great minds for wrestling, they both have great stories, and they both tell those stories greatly.

Paul's gimmick always reminded me of Bob Morton from Robocop

Jim Cornette used to say some of the funniest things about Paul during the Midnight vs. Original Midnight feud. I remember a few times in promos he would say, "Paul is a poor imitation of me. He;s got a 'Jim Cornette Joke book' in his back pocket trying to be me." That was one of his greatest lines ever! I would try to imagine where I could buy a "Jim Cornette Joke Book", just the idea of one sounded hillarious! Actually, all the wrestlers and managers that came out of Memphis were natural comedians, Jerry Lawler could make up fiunny one liners like that, too!

I just to hate him and the midnight express back in the late 80s when they work on nwa/ wcw he was a great heel manager but as i got older i started to appreciate him cause he was one of the few people in the wrestling business that was real and keep it real and told things like they where. I remember when he rip on everybody that was working on wcw and he wasn't even working for wwf but he rip everybody he is awesome

Imagine if you could get a wrestling promotion with James E. Cornette and Paul Heyman as head bookers, and Dirty Dutch as a checks and balance tie breaker third booker along with the brain of Dusty (which has a text to speech device).and Ric Flair as the Kayfabe GM/MC and occasionally color guy, with JR at the table with Tony S. A man can dream...

Paul Heyman has lots of bility.

That's one thing you could tell - Flair was not the one to be a booker. I mean he is on the list with Kevin Nash being head booker in WCW. Also that technically could be the first pipebomb ever in professional wrestling. Never mind the "Hulk Hogan, we comin for you N***a" one, I do really think Heyman's promo there could have pretty much been the pipebomb.

Heyman stole most of his ideas from Championship Wrestling from Florida, hardly innovative. Cornette paid talent, Heyman did not.
