This year the mushroom season for porcini mushrooms was not very encouraging and the mushroom picking was not very good. But despite this, my quiet hunt still brought good results and the search for mushrooms was successful. The mushrooms did not want to grow because there had been no good rains all autumn and there was a drought that extinguished the autumn mushrooms. Today I went out to scout for porcini mushrooms; there were no young mushrooms at all, but there were a lot of overripe mushrooms, like races for drying. Dried mushrooms are great added to mushroom soup, and I had a whole assortment of mushrooms such as porcini mushrooms, boletus and boletus.
