43:30 This is what Mad Max (2015) did so well. All of it was a post-apocalyptic desert but they still had a wide variety of landscapes that were visually interesting.

Biggest SGF pop was definitely SF6 Year 2 DLC. Thought it was Capcom vs SNK 3 until Elena popped up. Edit: It's refreshing to hear Hanson wanting to give fighting games a chance, cause most people won't.

Man, I sometimes forget how few games media people are mostly console kids. I played so much Brood war and WC3 for all the different tower and hero defense games and that alone deserves a documentary series. Bloons is only the tip.

It's a metroidvania in the loosest sense. It's one contiguous world but there's no real exploration and any new stuff you get just opens new doors and not much else. It barely ever gives you like new abilities to have different ways of interacting with the environment like most metroidvanias. It technically has the gameplay loop of a metroidvania but only just barely imo
